In this workshop you are
introduced to Reiki, where it comes from, how it works, what it can be used for, how to give a Reiki to yourself, giving Reiki
to others, the Reiki principles and an introduction to the energy body. Each participant receives a file with all information
for future reference. This is both a theoretical and hands on experience.On completion of the workshop you will be able to
perform Reiki for yourselves and others.

For those who have completed Reiki 1, in this workshop
you are taught further skills in Reiki including distant healing and empowering your Reiki further.

Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem™ is a fascinating holistic therapy
incorporating
Oriental and South American healing traditions with the science
of neurology. Sorensensistem is a new generation complementary
therapy, as
it is a health treatment working on reflexology maps of the body, with a beauty
benefit. It adds a new
dimension to the skills of foot reflexologists, beauty and
massage therapists and other health professionals, and provides
an accessible
route into a career in complementary therapy.

Sorensensistem™
is taught in the Middle East by Lone Sorensen and Julie Greenhalgh,
The course
The course consists of 8 days of tuition, divided into two blocks of 4 days, called
Parts 1 & 2 and Parts 3 &4. There is usually an interval of some weeks between
the two blocks to allow assimilation
and practice, before the introduction of further
knowledge and practical skills.
Examination
After Part 4,
there is an interval of approximately 6 - 8 weeks before a written and
practical exam. The date of the exam is usually
scheduled on a date mutually
agreed by the course participants. Two case histories, involving a minimum of 5
treatments
each, are required in order to receive the course Diploma issued by Instituto
Reflexologia Facial Podal Internacional,
Barcelona – recognised by the aforementioned
professional associations.

Introduction to the Oriental, South American (Mapuche) health traditions and
· neurological systems that underpin
FRS ™.
· The seven fundamental procedures of every FRS ™ treatment.
· Practical work.
Part 2 21st – 22nd May, 2010
·
Meridianology: an introduction to meridians and the Five Element Theory –
their role in our health and FRS ™.
· Cranial lines and points: how to identify and use.
· Practical work.
Parts 3 &4 27th-30th November, 2010
· The 564
neurological points: their location, function and use within the
treatment session and for self treatment.
·
Stimulation techniques for facial muscles – when to use, and the benefits.
· Meridian balancing and cranial
acupressure.
· Practical work.
Course Fee and
payments
The price of the course is Dhs 8,350. This covers 8 days of tuition, course notes,
on-line support during
the period of study and the examination fee.
It also includes a one-year membership of Global Facial Reflexology Network,
the organisation established by Lone Sorensen, and entitles you to discounts off
products and selected post graduate
courses.
Course fees are payable in three installments: a first deposit of Dhs 550 to reserve a
place and two installments
of Dhs 3,900, payable prior to Parts 1 and 3.
A deposit of Dhs 550 is required in advance of the workshop to reserve
